展览现场，两件制作于20世纪20年代的卡地亚插屏式座钟，实现了难得一见的“合体”展示。座钟均以中国古董文房白玉插屏为表盘，四周边框镶嵌珊瑚、缟玛瑙及珐琅，色彩鲜艳且富有中式特色；玉屏正反面为江南传统山水人物图的浅浮雕，或亭台楼阁beat365手机版客户端，或山林松竹；插屏背后的黑色珐琅龙形装饰，巧妙地将座钟的动力传动机制隐藏起来。

与这两件座钟“呼应”展出的，是来自辽宁省博物馆的清乾隆三阳开泰碧玉插屏。插屏的正面浅浮雕描绘了三只羊在太阳照耀下的草地上漫步的情景；背面阴刻乾隆御制文《开泰说》。“三阳开泰”指一年中正月之时，象征冬去春来、阴消阳长，又因“羊”与“阳”同音、古字“羊”通“祥”，故以三只羊的图案象征，意寓吉祥亨通。
